What got you into this business?

Initially I got into the business because I was really interested in the design aspect of advertising. Over time, I ended up taking a step back from design and started looking into research and strategy which led me to pursue client services. I started thinking more about how people came up with the idea for the ads. What makes people buy the product? Who’s the target audience? Why are they purchasing the product? What I love about client services is that you get to think about the big picture through the client’s and agency’s eyes and see each project through.

What’s the best part of your job?

The culture and the people.

I have the opportunity to lead KHJ’s culture club which is one of my favorite parts of working here. Making sure everyone feels included and motivated in the office significantly impacts the upbeat culture at KHJ. One of my favorite culture club events was the St. Patrick’s day shamrock scavenger hunt. Everyone had a lot of fun with it!

What is your favorite part about working at KHJ?

My favorite part about working at KHJ is having the opportunity to work with the best minds here. KHJ has helped me develop my own pathway while being surrounded by truly amazing people who teach me new things every day.

The people at KHJ are the reason I come into work every day I know that no matter what, my team has my back and I love being a part of a team.

Where is your favorite place that you’ve traveled?

Hong Kong.

I studied abroad there for three months while I was in college and I fell in love with the culture and lifestyle. One of the best parts of living in Hong Kong was the food. I even had the opportunity to visit the Great Wall in Beijing with my parents during the first snowfall. It was absolutely breathtaking!

I loved it so much I went back to Hong Kong for the first part of my honeymoon. It was awesome to introduce my husband to a place that is so special to me.

What do you love to do in your free time?

I have found a love/hate relationship with working out. I ran my first half marathon in 2016 which then led to the sprint triathlon I completed in 2017. It’s important to stay healthy while maintaining an active lifestyle.

I love to travel, try new restaurants, and mostly importantly walking our yellow lab, Motley. He just turned four this summer and is SUPER cute.

What’s your favorite ad/ad campaign?

The Best Buds Superbowl campaign Budweiser includes some of my favorite ads. How can you not love puppies and Clydesdales together?! The emotional narrative is really strong and it was certainly memorable. The puppies featured in the ads look like Motley so I’m slightly obsessed with the campaign.
